Flere af de bedste Supermoto kørere fra hele verdenen mødes hvert år på "Mettet" i Belgien. Dette Superbiker Event trækker flere hundrede deltagere. Der bliver i den grad kæmpet om det ærefulde erhverv, som den bedste motorcykel kører!
Det er en RIGTIG god ide at blive tilmeldt i en fart, da dette event er meget efterspurgt. Der er naturligvis forskellige SM klasser, hvoraf nogle specielle wildcards bliver uddelt af organisationen bag Mettet Superbikers's, til topkørere fra bla. USA oa.
Men i klasse nr. 3 "Bikers", er der plads til 288 Supermotard kørere. Læs info nederst på siden og print det evt. ud (Engelsk info).

Summary of the Supplementary Regulations
Definition:
The R.U.M.E.S.M.(Royal Union Motor Entre Sambre et Meuse) will organize, on 17-18-19 october 2008, a Supermoto meeting, that will be held under the international F.I.M.(Fédération internationale de Motocyclisme)sporting code, the European U.E.M.(Union Européenne de Motocyclisme) sporting code, the National F.M.B.(Fédération Motocycliste de Belgique)sporting code, their annexes and appendixes, when applicable, and these supplementary regulations.
By entering the meeting, the riders agree to submit all these rules.
Circuit:
Total length : 1537m divided as follows : (tarmac 60%, ground 12%, various 28%).
Entry forms:
Entry form must be received before 23/09/08.
The admission fee is €105,00 - in case of payment after 22/09/2008 this fee will be increased with €30,00.
The admission fee includes 3 entries (pilot - mechanic - spectator) and a place in the paddock with all accommodations.
The entry of a rider will only be effectif after receipt/registration of the payment.

Every rider who has sent his entry form in due time will be informed of his acceptance or his refusal at the latest 10 days after the closing date for entries.
Authorised bikes:
Categories Starbiker, Prestige Bikers, Bikers and Quads: class OPEN - 175 - 900cc (maximum 2 cylinders). The maximum number of riders allowed simultaneously at the track amounts to:
48 for bikes
25 for quads
Authorised riders:
Riders who do not have a FMB licence must have a start permission of their federation and a medical certificate.
If the pilot is not in possession of a licence, he can buy a one event licence for 65 Euros and he must provide a medical certificate by his doctor, certifying that the pilot is in a good physical condition to practise motorsport.
Starting numbers:
The organiser will communicate the race number to the riders together with the acceptance of their entry to the race.
These race numbers, 2 placed on the sides and 1 on the front need to be delivered by the riders and must be in conformity with the art 01.55 annex O of the technical rules FIM motocross.
Timekeeping - Transponders:
Every rider needs a transponder on his bike.
The hiring (€20,00+ garantee) of the transpondeur will take place in the “Press room” near the race office, on Thursday from 15.00 and on Friday 1 hour before the beginning of the first race. Return of the transpondeur till half an hour after arrival of the last race.
Race office:
In order to be admitted on the circuit and in the paddock, drivers and mechanics have to collect their passes as follows:
Categories Bikers and Quads:
- on 16/10/08: at the race office on top of the garages, from 13.00 till 21.00.
Categories Starbikers and Prestige Bikers:
- on 16/10/08 from 13.00 till 21.00 at the race office on top of the garages or on 17/10/08 from 09.00 at the Welcome Center.
Schedule of the races - Four categories:
*STARBIKER:
Pilots who are specialist in the categories speed, cross, enduro, trial ....(with exception
the specialists in Supermoto).
The organiser reserves the right to invite pilots who practice intensively the category Supermoto in function of his international palmares in another category (world champion cross, speed, …USA championship)
*PRESTIGE BIKERS:
Grouping the following Supermoto riders:
First three of the World Championship 2008 on 13/07/08, S1 and S2
World Championship title S1 and S2 (2007)
The winners of the Superbiker over the last 15 years
Top pilots of the US championship invited by the organiser.

3 non-official timed practice sessions: 3 x 30 min.
2 official timed practice sessions: 2 x 30 min
1 Warm up session: 20 min.
Starbiker on 15 laps
The starting grid will be determined in accordance with the results of the official timed practice sessions.
22 pilots qualified for the Superbikr (first 15 from the Starbiker + 7 pilots based on the practice sessions).
PRESTIGE BIKERS
3 non-official timed practice sessions : 3 x 30 min (together with the Starbikers)
2 official timed practice sessions : 2 x 30 min (together with the Starbikers)
1 warm up : 20 min (together with the Starbikers)
all the pilots are qualified for the semi-finals Bikers
BIKERS - Maximum 288 riders:
1 non-official timed practice session : 1 x 20 min (6 groups)
2 official timed practice sessions : 1 x 20 min – 1 x 15 min (6 groups)
qualifying heats on 10 laps (6 x 6 pilots qualified for the semi-finals). Groups composed following the results of the official practice sessions.
Last chance races for not qualified riders on 8 laps (Min. 6 x 3 last chance pilots for the semi-finals in function of the number of the Prestige Bikers).Groups and starting grid composed following the results of the qualifying heats.
Semi-finals on 12 laps (per semi-final: 34 participants – 9 qualified for the Superbiker). The starting grid for semi-finals is completed in accordance with the results of the qualifying heats and then with the results of the last chance races in alternation with the Prestige Bikers (in function of the realised time of the official practice sessions). The pole position will be assigned to the winner of the qualification races who has the best time during the qualification sessions.
Super last chance race on 8 laps (46 participants – min. 4 qualified for the Superbiker in function of the number of Starbikers).
Superbiker on 16 laps: 44 participants (22 Starbikers – 22 Bestbikers). The starting grid will be completed in accordance with the results of the semi-finals and then with the results of the super last chance race - in alternation with the Starbikers (in function of the Starbiker race). The pole position will be attributed to the winner of the Starbiker. The second place on the grid will be attributed to the winner of the semi-finals who made the best time during the official timed practice sessions.
QUADERS - Max 45 participants:
1 non-official timed practice session : 20 min (2 groups)
2 Official timed sessions : 1 x 20 min – 1 x 15 min (2 groups)
Qualifying heats on 10 laps (2 x 10 pilots qualified for the Superquader). Starting grid composed following the results of the official practice sessions.
Last chance race on 8 laps (25 participants – 5 qualified for the finale). The starting grid will be composed following the results of the qualifying heats.
Warm Up: 10 min. (for riders directly qualified for the final)
Superquader (finale Quads) on 12 laps (25 participants). The starting grid is completed in accordance with the results of the qualifying heats
and then with the results of the last chance race.

Controle anti-dopage:
All participants can be subject to the control anti-dopage according to the modalities defined by the French community. The list of prohibited products and methods is available on the Internet site dopage.be. In case of a positive control of the members of the FMWB - BMBB, sanctions will be imposed by the responsible federation. For foreign pilots the results will be passed on to the FIM.
Access to the track:
The access to the track is obligatory through the closed park. The motorcycles must be in the closed park, 10 minutes before the official start of the race. If the pilot does not respect this rule, he can take a start but he will start from the last line of the starting-grid.
Start procedure:
Start with running engines, controlled by lights.
For all finals (Quads, Biker Challenge, Bikers>450cc, Starbiker , Superbiker ) if H is the start time:
H-15min: riders and motorcycles are in the closed park area.
H-10 min: 1st warm up lap + presentation of the pilots.
H- 5 min: startboard « 3 min »
H- 3 min: startboard « 1 min »
H-2,5min: startboard « 30 sec »
H- 2min: Warm up lap
H – 10 sec : startboard “10 sec”
