Nu går det snart løs igen Belgien, hvor kørere fra hele Verden skal dyste på Supermotard motorcykler.
Løbet som alle motarder' drømmer om i 364 dage behøver næppe meget introduktion. De store stjerner fra USA er selvskrevne år efter år på Mettet, og danske kørere er også med.

The R.U.M.E.S.M. (Royal Union Motor Entre Sambre et Meuse) is proud to present the 24th VOO Superbiker which will be organized at Mettet in Belgium on 8 - 9 and 10 October 2010, a Supermoto meeting, that will be held under the international F.I.M. (Fédération International de Motocyclisme) sporting code, the European U.E.M. (Union Européenne de Motocyclisme) sporting code, the National F.M.B. (Fédération Motocycliste de Belgique) sporting code, under FIM code IMN 298/031.
This Special Event is unique in the entire motor sport world. It is the only time you can see riders from the World Championship of Supermoto, Motorcross and Road racing against each other on the same track in the same race. Every year, a lot of riders are keen to come to Mettet and spontaneously promote the event, bringing new riders together in a race which is FUN and SPECTACULAR for the riders as well as for the public.
This year, there is a complete new target for earth riders, a complete new racetrack has been built and has been opened up since March 2010. This track will be the place where the 24th VOO Superbiker will be held. Of course, there are a few modifications on the total length: 1 907 m divided as follows: tarmac 85 %, ground 15 %.

The maximum number of riders allowed simultaneously on the track is:

Four categories:
Pilots who are specialist in the categories speed, cross, enduro, trial ... (with exception of the specialists in Supermoto).
The organization reserves the right to invite riders who practice intensively the category Supermoto in function of their international records of achievements in another category (world champion cross, speed, … USA championship).

- First ten of the World Championship S1 2010 on 30/08/10
- World Championship title S1 and S2 and Belgium championship (2009)
- The winners of the Superbiker over the last 15 years
- Top pilots of the US championship invited by the organization

STARBIKER
2 non-official timed practice sessions: 2 x 20 min
2 official timed practice sessions: 2 x 30 min
1 warm up session: 20 min
Starbiker on 10 laps – 2 heats
The starting grid will be determined in accordance with the results of the officially timed practice sessions.
17 pilots qualified for the Superbiker + 3 last chance riders in function of the results of the official practice sessions.
PRESTIGE SUPERMOTO
2 non-official timed practice sessions: 2 x 20 min (together with the Starbikers)
2 official timed practice sessions: 2 x 30 min (together with the Starbikers)
1 warm up: 20 min (together with the Starbikers)
All the pilots are qualified for the Supermoto finals.
BIKERS
Maximum 240 riders:
1 non-official timed practice session: 1 x 15 min (5 groups)
2 official timed practice sessions: 2 x 15 min (5 groups)
Qualifying heats on 10 laps (5 x 10 pilots qualified for the semi-finals)
Groups composed following the results of the official practice sessions.
Last chance races for non-qualified riders on 10 laps (5 x 4 last chance pilots for the semi- finals).
Groups and starting grid composed following the results of the qualifying heats.
Consolation race for the non-qualified riders. Groups and starting grid will be composed according to the realized time during the official practice sessions.
Semi-finals on 10 laps (per semi-final: 35 participants – min. 12 qualified for the Superbiker in function of the number of the Prestige Bikers).
The starting grid for semi-finals is completed in accordance with the results of the qualifying heats and then with the results of the last chance races.
The pole position will be assigned to the winner of the qualification races, who has the best time during the qualification sessions.
2 finals on 10 laps with the pilots of the category Prestige Supermoto (directly qualified) and the qualified pilots of the semi-finals Supermoto. Per final: 40 pilots. The starting grid will be composed in accordance with the times realized during the official practice sessions. The reinforced classification of the two sessions and thus the atribution of the title SUPERMOTO will be calculated in accordance with the place (25pts-20-16-13-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1). In case of a status quo, the second heat will be decisive.
17 pilots qualified for the Superbiker + 3 last chance riders in function of the results of the official practice sessions.
SUPERBIKER
Superbiker on 12 laps: 40 participants (20 Starbikers – 20 Supermoto).
The starting grid will be completed in accordance with the results of the qualifying heats.
The pole position will be attributed to the winner of the Starbiker.
The second place of the starting grid will be attributed to the pilot Supermoto and so on.
QUADERS Max 45 participants
1 non-official timed practice session: 15 min (2 groups)
2 Official timed sessions: 2 x 15 min (2 groups)
Qualifying heats on 10 laps (2 x 10 pilots qualified for the Superquader)
Starting grid composed following the results of the official practice sessions.
Last chance race on 10 laps (25 participants – 5 qualified for the finale)
The starting grid will be composed following the results of the qualifying heats.
-Consolation race for the non-qualified riders. Groups and starting grid will be composed according to the realized time during the official practice sessions.
